These plates are the end cut of rolled plates. The standard length of plates are mostly 12500 mm, however sometimes during the manufacturing process the plates are rolled further in the length greater than 12500mm. In such cases, the plants slice the additional length to acquire the standard size required and the end cut is of no utilization for the factory and can't be offered as primary steel plates due to its variation size. So, these end cut plates are sold as as secondary mild steel plates which are an economical option for customers who require smaller sizes of plates for different applications, Such as, creation of a base for structures, apparatus parts, gear, and Farming machinery etc.
